Paul looks beneath the obvious to see the undercurrent of mass consciousness that contributed to the riot. "Hockey was never the issue" he says. "It was a minor outbreak of a greater pressure cooker that is a world-wide epidemic. The outburst gave momentary reprieve to a build up of negative energy that could have been far more devastating than it was had it taken place in one of the emotional hots spots in the world. I am greatful to the citizens of Vancouver for their healing efforts following the event. Not only did they bring healing to their own city of Vancouver, they were examples to the world of how to bring peace to chaos. They helped to heal the mass consciousness thinking of a world that can at times be quite disfunctional."
